Cedar Technology has specialised in arranging the sale of new and used production equipment for the aluminium industry for 20 years. Our used equipment projects have included those in 34 countries and almost all of the major aluminium companies around the world. Typical items are rolling mills (hot mills, cold strip mills, foil mills etc.), extrusion presses, sheet casters, roll grinders, slitting lines, cut to length lines, embossers, ingot scalpers, saws, separators, furnaces etc.

Cedar Technology also arranges the sale of used equipment for the aluminium foil, film and paper converting industries, including rotogravure and flexo printers, laminators, coaters, rewind lines etc.

Cedar Technology ironing roller system for aluminium foil mills are unique in their technical philosophy and scientific approach to resolving the problems so common with those supplied by original mill manufacturers. A fundamental part of the Cedar Technology ironing roller system is the use of our specially developed low bounce JX18 covered rollers. JX18 covered rollers are also available for retro-fitting into existing applications for both aluminium foil mills and separators.

Utilising our unique experience of the used equipment market we are able to offer independent formal valuations of aluminium production machinery, ranging from single items to complete plants. Valuations based on a close appreciation of the current supply and demand situation in the used equipment market, can be far more accurate and reliable than those from general valuers or accountancy firms.  In such a small and specialised industry, these factors have a considerable influence on the true market value of equipment, and cannot be ignored.
